Dear Surfer:

What the hell is going on with blue number nine?? People are asking me, including people in the band. Well, there's been a huge change in my personal life and so the band is on hiatus right now. That's pretty much all I have to say. If you want, shoot me an email. I'd be happy to talk to you about it. My email addy is stefanie@bluenumbernine.com. I miss playing, that's for sure, but things are bad out there.

For example, the Journal Square Summer Concert Series has been CANCELLED for the entire season. I just found that out yesterday, the 16th. So that's one gig that's gone, one that we counted on, one that I was going to book, despite the turmoil in my personal life.

We might be playing Altoona in the summer. I have to get back to them about it. And a possible fundraiser in June, again, I have to get back to the booking person. I'm doing bookings now, Marco is not. Things change, that's all I can say. bn9 has existed for FIFTEEN YEARS now. Wow. I am not giving up yet.
