Dear Surfer:
This month was pretty freakin' good!
I was on vacation for my birthday in Nevis and St. Kitts... lovely
islands. If you're curious check this out: http://www.stkittstourism.kn/. Lots of scuba diving
and lying in the sun. Got back on the 10th.
In bn9 news, we had a fun rehearsal that resulted in some new song ideas.
Minoru is playing really well and it's nice to have him back working with
us. He's a great player and a really nice guy.
Thank you to those of you who came to see us at Wicked Willy's on the
25th! It was a fun show, particularly because people were dancing which
is what people are SUPPOSED to do and it feels good to do it and to watch
it, so everyone is happy when people dance. Whew, long sentence. Great
news -- the promoter booked 2 more shows for us immediately after our set,
this time both on Fridays and we're going to play for 2 hours, not just 45
minutes! I'm so excited, and it's crazy that in last month's "Dear
Surfer", I mentioned that we were going to make something like this happen
in NYC this year. It is thrilling to me that it happened! I really am
looking forward to those shows. Thanks to Christina for hooking it up and
to Terrance and Paul.
Our next show is in NYC, once again. I can't remember when we've played so
many NYC shows. Maybe 5 years ago! We'll be at the R Bar on Wednesday,
April 22nd at 8pm.
And that's it... no other news.
Except for this --- if you're on Facebook, you should become our fan -

peace,
